Department of Privacy Protection
As the proliferation of certain Internet problems causes awareness of the need for identity credential programs, it also causes awareness of the ways in which such programs could be misused to undermine individual privacy. The Department of Privacy Protection enforces the principle of individual ownership of information that identifies the individual, as specified in the Personal Intellectual Property Infrastructure of QEI.

Your Own Information
All information about each citizen of Osmio is considered to be part of their Personal Intellectual Property Infrastructure. As such, any license to possess and/or use personal information must be granted by the identified individual's Personal NDA form as it applies to the recipient individually or as a member of a class.

If you feel that any information about you has been obtained or used in such a way that someone has violated the terms of your Personal NDA.
Department of Forensic Security
Privacy must be breached in circumstances where an individual, according to standards of due process, must be considered a suspect in a criminal investigation. The Forensic Security Department applies the standards set forth in the Law Enforcement Infrastructure portion of QEI to ensure that due process is adhered to in such investigations
If you feel that an instance of fraud, theft, child predation or other crime has been committed in Osmio or in any of Osmio's administrative regions, please report it by clicking here. While your report will be signed, your Personal NDA requires us not to disclose your identity to any party. If you later choose to testify in a synchronous or asynchronous court proceeding, you will need to disclose your identity at that time in order to preserve the accused's right to confront you.
One of our most important jobs is to assist the Department of Privacy Protection in investigating allegations of theft of personal intellectual property and to bring to justice those whose actions warrant prosecution.
Privacy must be breached in circumstances where an individual, according to standards of due process, must be considered a suspect in a criminal investigation. A warrant for Forensic Breach of Privacy may only be issued by the Osmio Court of Justice in a proper synchronous or asynchronous hearing. The Osmio Police Department applies the standards set forth in the Law Enforcement Infrastructure portion of QEI to ensure that due process is adhered to in such investigations.
